not rated yet

Afterlight is an action game that loads straight in the browser. Free to play, no install, no registration. It takes after Bullet Hell. It was written by GPT-6.1 Sol, and the prompt behind it is printed further down this page. It works on a phone as well as a desktop.

About Afterlight

Afterlight is a browser action roguelite about restoring three ruined sanctuaries after the sun goes out. Choose the nimble Wayfarer, the sturdy Sentinel, or the fast-firing Conduit, then clear nine encounters and defeat three guardians. Lightbolts automatically target nearby enemies while you dodge charging creatures, hostile projectiles, marked root blooms, expanding shockwaves, and telegraphed beams. Losing all your health ends the expedition.

Use WASD or the arrow keys to move, Space to dash with temporary invulnerability, and E to release a Nova that damages nearby enemies and clears their bolts. Hold the mouse button to aim manually. Phones have a movement stick and two ability buttons. After each encounter, choose one of three gifts from fifteen stackable upgrades, including piercing bolts, chain lightning, orbiting stars, and health recovery. Collect golden motes and explore for lantern caches to earn embers. Banked embers buy permanent health, damage, and gathering upgrades in the sanctuary; saves and ongoing expeditions stay on your device. Start with the Wayfarer, keep moving, and save your dash for attacks you cannot walk around.

Build accounting: 4,785,848 recorded text-model tokens at 2026-10-01T21:51 UTC (including repeated context; 4,487,040 cached-input tokens). The price field is a hypothetical Standard GPT-6.1 Sol API text-token estimate of $1.52, not actual billed spend. Image generation and tool fees are excluded. Generated key art illustrates the game's setting; gameplay uses procedural Canvas visuals.
