BLOCKHEAD
Free action game · plays in your browser · made with Opus 5
BLOCKHEAD is an action game that loads straight in the browser. Free to play, no install, no registration. It sits across arcade and shooter as much as action. Opus 5 wrote the code; the prompt that produced it is on this page.
About BLOCKHEAD
A top-down wave shooter in the spirit of the flash-era arcade originals. There is no shop and nothing carries over: every run starts with a pistol, and the only currency is how fast you kill. Every kill inside the window steps your multiplier up by one, and that multiplier is the whole arsenal — weapons and upgrades are spread the full length of the ladder, with the Devil Gun waiting at x60. Eleven weapons, eight rooms across two wings (the undead streets and the machine facility), endless waves, and a boss every tenth wave built specifically to stop you hiding behind a barricade.

The prompt behind BLOCKHEAD
Build a top-down arcade zombie shooter as a modern game: a menu with character and room select, waves of enemies, crates that hand out health and ammo, the score multiplier that unlocks weapons as it climbs, bosses, and a score screen on death — the same mechanics the genre is built on, brought up to 2026 in UI and attention to detail.
